OUR MISSION
Here at Apollo we are a learning community committed to providing the highest quality education for every child. Our curriculum provides relevant and rigorous learning activities for all students in the core subject areas of language arts, math, social studies, science and fine arts. Our teachers creatively integrate technology throughout the curriculum. Our high quality teachers work diligently to meet the individual needs of students so that they have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
We pride ourselves on knowing what it is our students need to know and providing high levels of instruction for each student. We have several instructional specialists in the areas of music, art, physical education; P.E.A.K, Title I, ELL, Special Education, Media and Counselor who work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide a successful school wide learning environment for all.
We look forward in creating a partnership between home and school. Communication is essential and we will do our best to keep you informed of the happenings at Apollo.

The launch of esports at all three Putnam City high schools forms the largest district wide esports program in Oklahoma K-12 schools.
It is of importance to inform the public that Putnam City Schools manages an established online virtual public school that has been successfully operating since 2011 under public school guidelines.
Fifty-four Putnam City students have been named 2019 Oklahoma Academic Scholars by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Tulakes Elementary 1st-grade teacher Shadonna Watkins was named Putnam City Schools’ “Teacher of the Year” during the district’s annual celebration of teaching excellence Tuesday night.
Five teachers have been selected as finalists for Putnam City’s Teacher of the Year. The finalists, along with teachers of the year from other district schools, will be honored at the district’s annual Teacher of the Year program at 7p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, at Victory Church, 4300 N MacArthur Blvd.
